Welcome to Math 4-2 Tutoring!

I'm Jenny Santiano, M.A.Ed., owner of and tutor for Math 4-2 Tutoring. I absolutely love teaching mathematics! I look forward to getting to know you and helping you to reach your learning goals.

I have been providing panic-free, personalized help since 2014, both as a full-time public school teacher in Leander and Del Valle ISDs and as a private tutor.

I have a Master of Arts in Education and am a certified educator for the state of Texas with specializations in middle school Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts and Reading, and English as a Second Language.

My professional development has included AVID instructional practices for mathematics, AVID critical reading strategies, Title I literacy strategies, National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) strategies, Kagan structures, Culturally Responsive Teaching strategies for English Language Learners, and Gifted and Talented student learning.

What services do you provide?

I work with you in one-to-one sessions where I can coach you towards your individual learning goals. I can help you by:

Previewing new topics and vocabulary so you are confident when you encounter them in class;
Clarifying concepts, breaking down complex ideas into their smaller, more manageable pieces;
Preparing for assessments by reviewing content and engaging in meaningful study strategies;
Creating enrichment opportunities for students who are looking to delve more deeply into current content; and
Exploring more advanced topics with students who are ready for a challenge or looking to move ahead to the next level.

Do you tutor virtually or face-to-face?

At this time, I am only hosting virtual tutoring sessions through Zoom.

How much do you charge for your services?

I charge a base rate of $30/hour* for my expertise.

Some services may require additional fees if my time outside of our tutoring sessions is required.

As my time is valuable, I do charge a cancellation fee of $15 if you do not contact me to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your booked time.
